About the Author
My name is Kenya Guidry, and I am fifth-year senior at Oklahoma State University. I am a Sociology Major with an application in Law, Crime, and Social Justice. My minors include Gender and Women's Studies and Spanish. I will graduate from Oklahoma State on May 10, 2014, and in the Fall of 2014 I will be attending Wichita State University to pursue a Master’s Degree in Sociology. There, I will be a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
​I am very interested in juvenile delinquency, especially the ways in which female juvenile offenders are affected by the lack of knowledge had about the ways in which they function. I think it is very important to understand the ways in which juvenile delinquency really affect people throughout their lives. If we understand how to help juvenile offenders, we can help better their lives in the process.
